Fantastic spot, we ventured off the Northern Rivers Rail Trail as we had heard about this cafe and it definitely did not disappoint! Friendly service, and helped us navigate a few things on the menu that they had run out of, it was late on a Sunday, so they definitely are busy but food came out quickly, after great coffees came out nice and quick too. We will be venturing back and will make this a must-visit stop next time!

WOW! What a find this place is. The food was delicious with incredibly quick service. The owner specifically came out with a toy for my son to keep him occupied so we could eat our food. The pricing is expected for the area but the serving sizes made it well worth the price, very generous proportions. Even the fresh bread was memorable. The cakes and baked goods also look incredible. Kid & dog friendly too.

One of my most favourite cafes in the Northern Rivers, an absolute must see! Not only is the journey beautiful so is the destination. I love a family run business and the most beautiful family run this cafe, Dad’s in the kitchen and what an amazing chef he is Mum is running the show And their daughter’s are amazing barristers. I’m really big on good old-fashioned service and fresh local ingredients. this place ticks all the boxes. The potato omelette with peanut sauce was the best omelette I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you, Teakwood for providing beautiful service and amazing, fresh, local food

New coffee is delicious! I take ages to leave reviews because so many time I've lavishly praised places to then be disappointed later in. Not here! 2 years I've been impressed. Between my family and I we've eaten and drank through every menu change. Not once have any of us been disappointed. Can't wait for next week when the breaky/lunch menu drops

Recommended by a staff member at Pipit (a fine dining restaurant in Pottsville). Teakwood ended up being one of the best cafes we went to in Tweed. A good balance of classics with some more unique options. Really lovely staff and a warm atmosphere. The corn fritters were a favourite. The rosti with salmon wasn’t bad, but would’ve liked the rosti crispier. The apple and almond cake was delicious as well. I wish I got the blueberry cake! Would visit again.

No place deserves a full run of 5 stars more than this beautiful Cafe! Beautiful energy and atmosphere and absolutely divine food. This is a gorgeous family operation with caring, friendly and genuine people both working as well as dining. Shout out to Mia for being so hospitable to accommodate our furry friend and for the smiley service. Thank you so much for creating an experience to write home about.

Wow. What a hidden gem! We visited this beautiful cafe on the side of the road during our visit to Murwillumbah. The place was packed when we got there. Due to this not all menu items were available, but this did not concern us as the meals we all chose were beyond delicious. We got the potato omelette, reuben toastie, and the bushman's breakfast. All were equally delicious, but the highlight for me had to be the reuben toastie which was accompanied by a tasty jalapeno relish. Definitely coming back when we are in the area again. This is a must visit.
